Biography

Janice has combined experience in community economic development, non-profit leadership, and corporate social responsibility and likes to work with teams and leaders interested in leading more abundant conversations on truly working together for impact and sustainability. 

With her background in the credit union system, United Ways, and impact investing, Janice helps teams look at how money can be leveraged for impact. Janice appreciates the pressures non-profit leaders and Board of Directors face as the need for local and global solutions intensify, andbrings energy, creativity and hopefulness through grounded, casual and enjoyable coaching conversations.

Janice retired from her formal career in 2022, with her last role being Executive Director at Community Futures Sunshine Coast. She is currently working alongside several BC Chambers of Commerce on merger and sustainability opportunities and is on the Board of Sunshine Community Foundation and the Partners In Change Society. 

Janice is an Accredited Business Communicator (IABC) and a graduate of the Partnership Brokers Training Program. She began her career in photojournalism.
