Biography
Alexia Riche is an accomplished nonprofit leader with a strong background in organizational leadership and social justice. As the Executive Director of the Community Sector Network of PEI, Alexia has led various initiatives to support and empower nonprofit organizations across the province. Her work focuses on building strategic partnerships, advocating for sustainable funding, and fostering collaboration to enhance the impact of the community sector.
Previously, as the Diversity Training Coordinator for ResourceAbilities, Alexia developed and delivered training programs to enhance inclusivity within nonprofit organizations. Her work focused on building more equitable workplaces and better serving diverse communities.
Alexia's leadership extends beyond her professional career, with participation on the boards of several organizations, including Women’s Network PEI, the Comité Consultatif de la Communauté Acadienne et Francophone, Actions Femmes IPE, and the PEI Rape and Sexual Assault Centre.
A firm believer in lifelong learning, Alexia is currently pursuing a Master's Degree in Organizational Leadership from Fort Hays State University. She previously completed the ED Academy training offered by United Ways of PEI. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts with a double major in Applied Communication, Leadership & Culture and Diversity & Social Justice Studies from the University of Prince Edward Island.
In her spare time, Alexia likes to do yoga, bake, and take care of her plants.
