Biography

Kurt is the Project Director for the Existence Project, a charity that Humanizes Homelessness through storytelling.

He has over twenty years of experience working in the nonprofit sector. He was the interim executive director for the Victoria Event Centre and founded Between Words Theatre and the Victoria One-Act Play Festival in 2022.

Kurt was the previous Licensee for TEDxYYC and now curates with TEDxVictoria.

In addition to speaking, he coaches arts and nonprofit organizations across Canada and around the world.

His passion for storytelling also extends to climate and sci-fi writing, for on and off the stage.
