Biography

Lisa has over 25 years of senior non-profit leadership in Ontario, Alberta and British Columbia.

She has contributed to change-making organizations working in the areas of advancing economic inclusion, workforce development, microlending, financial empowerment, and more. Her expertise includes strategy, program development and operations, human resources, evaluation, public policy, resource development, and governance. 

Lisa feels fortunate to have experienced first-hand the opportunities for increasing impact, innovation, and organizational health that come from a strong, sustained focus on financial management and revenue diversification. She is excited to contribute to building financial resilience with organizations across Canada through Thriving Non-Profits.

Lisa loves to spend time outdoors walking, hiking, kayaking, cross-country skiing, and attending music festivals. Her dog Bowie was named after David Bowie, her first stadium show.
